Alicia Read
Alicia Read is an actor, writer, producer and recognized voice in vertical entertainment. Her screen work has reached more than 450 million viewers across leading microdrama platforms including ReelShort, GoodShort and DramaWave, and she recently co-produced and co-starred in the first ReelShort Original developed in Canada.
As vertical storytelling has emerged as one of entertainment’s fastest-growing formats, Alicia has been interviewed extensively about its growth, production model and creative evolution, with coverage in Business Insider, Maclean’s and Canada’s CBC.
Before returning to entertainment, Alicia spent more than 20 years in the luxury beauty industry, leading international brand, communications and creative initiatives involving Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Neiman Marcus and goop.
She is also co-founder of the VFSSA, the first alliance for vertical entertainment professionals, working to strengthen the infrastructure, standards and opportunities supporting the growing vertical ecosystem.

Co-FounderKelli D. McLeod
Kelli D. McLeod is a veteran entertainment executive, producer, creative consultant and talent agent at Play Management, with a career spanning performance, producing, choreography, direction, education and talent representation.
With nearly two decades of experience as an artistic director and entertainment entrepreneur, Kelli brings a 360-degree understanding of the creative and business sides of the industry. She works closely with actors and creators navigating an entertainment landscape increasingly shaped by new platforms, formats and technologies.
An alumna of The Canadian College of Performing Arts, with additional training in Los Angeles, New York and London, Kelli combines deep artistic experience with a strategic understanding of talent development, representation and career-building.
Based on the West Coast, she remains a dedicated advocate for artists and for the continued evolution of the performing arts, championing creativity while helping talent adapt to the opportunities emerging across vertical and digital entertainment.
